RE/MAX FINE HOMES #6 in the USA
(Laguna Beach, CA July 2010) - According to two recently released surveys of the nation's top brokerages, RE/MAX Fine Homes outperforms their competitors. Based on transactions closed in 2010, the RIS Media Power Broker Survey and The Real Trends 500 found that RE/MAX Associates average significantly more transaction sides than any other national competitor. Both The REAL Trends 500 and The RIS Power Broker Survey seek to identify the elite in the industry, the most successful brokerages of the year.
In the Power Broker Survey, RE/MAX Fine Homes held the #6 position and was #6 in The Real Trends 500. There are nearly 80,000 residential real estate brokerages in the United States according to the National Association of Realtors®, and of all the top brokerages ranked in The REAL Trends 500, RE/MAX brokerages won 30% of the rankings, represented by 149 brokerages. This was more than any other national franchise and nearly as much as its next two competitors combined.
"We have the most successful real estate network in the world because we have the best brokers and agents," said Lee Ann Canaday, Owner of RE/MAX Fine Homes. "These two prestigious surveys, long regarded as the benchmark studies in our industry, confirm that fact once again."
Margaret Kelly, CEO of RE/MAX International, said a significant factor in the growth and success of RE/MAX has been the marketing and educational support provided to franchises. "RE/MAX University is a multimedia system that provides state-of-the-art training to our agents. It includes the RE/MAX Satellite Network (RSN), the first and still the only such network in the industry. Because of RSN and other educational programs we offer online and in classrooms around the country, RE/MAX Associates lead the industry, as demonstrated by the results of these surveys."
